Small Annoyances

Found a new huge pet peeve of mine today. I absolutely hate when someone texts or calls you and you know they are trying to find out some information whether it be if you are attending a party or If you bought a certain gift for someone. Something along those lines. Here is the part that pisses me off: when they act like the care about you or your life and ask you a question, Like "how have you been" or "I have been wondering about you." why does this make me mad? Because they would have never called to ask me that if they weren't looking to find something out. I don't understand the need to try and make yourself seem like a person who is genuinely interested in me. Instead of just calling it like it is, and avoiding that bullshit of acting like you give a shit about me and my life you have to fake it. I would rather have someone call me and just say "so are you coming to the party or not" don't try to interject your attempt at caring into that conversation. It looks horrible and it makes the fact that you don't care much more obvious. Instead of trying to pretend that you are someone who values my life just be a normal person and don't try to show me you care enough about me for 5 minutes out of every year. Just had to get that one off my chest. I think that the more I write the more I hope people gain some sort of perspective on how to act, or at least how I think 99% of society should act. There are right and wrong ways to go about your life, regardless of what anyone tells you. Try to find the right ways and go with those. I truly appreciate those who read my blog and take the time to think about the things I write about. Leave me some comments on some things and see if we can't find a good discussion.
